The Brisbane suburb of Taringa is located about 5 kilometres south-west of the Brisbane central business district (CBD). It is chiefly residential with a small number of commercial buildings mostly found along Moggill Road. The city is easily accessible via Coronation Drive or Milton, making Taringa very popular among students of the University of Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology. Taringa has a railway station, which is part of the Citytrain network. The train runs on the Ipswich railway line that takes commuters to the Brisbane CBD and Ipswich. Shops and retail stores are mostly located on Moggill Road. Stores include the Taringa Day and Night Pharmacy, Video Ezy videos and video game rental, Leading Edge Video, TC’s Bike Barr, Taringa Stationery, Floral Pizazz, and more. Groceries and supermarkets include Nightowl Convenience Stores, Persian Star Supermarkets and Grocery Stores, Woolworths and Coles Supermarket.
